The Event Photography Vehicle Specification
Based on a 3.5 ton Luton-box style vehicle, the unit has been customised and fully fitted inside and out to provide event photography on location. Power supply can be either by on board Honda generator or mains hookup 13 amp or 16 amp power. A side mounted fold out staircase gives access to the interior, with an optional side awning to expand the area and give shelter from adverse weather if needed.
Guest Viewing – The unit has five customer viewing screens with bespoke software that allows selection of images into ‘favourites’ folders. They can then select images or send the entire folder to our server to print, making it easy to view, compare and purchase images. The viewing screen software can be customised for your event, with options for event time, competitor number and other elements to match your event.
Image Ingestion – Our bespoke server and software automatically ingests images sent from the event photographers via our WiFi transmitters. Our hardware of Nikon professional camera systems and high performance WiFi boosters have several hundred metres of range and allows our photographers to be positioned at the optimum point on your venue to capture the peak of the action without the need for time consuming manual collection of memory cards.
Point of Sale – Our sales staff assist guests with image selection via the touch screen interface before sending the chosen image files for print. Transactions via cash or card sales machine are at the point of image collection, with a single staff member coordinating print output and sales.
Image Quality – Our dye sub printers do not use inkjet technology. Dye Sub printing offers print quality that exactly matches the output from a traditional film lab, with the quality feel of traditional photographic prints. Prints can be output in popular sizes ranging from 6×4 to 12×8 and presented in branded folders with other point of sale material as required. Prints are output within minutes of selection, so that by the time the card transaction is complete, the prints are ready for guests to take away.
